Having been raised and sent to Catholic/Christian schools myself I've learned not to take it seriously, especially its childish view on something so complex as human sexuality and relationships. The only thing I rely on Religion is its seemingly consistent hypocrisy, which ought to be considered a sin itself.

Where do I even begin… As a praticant Catholic, this movie has the worst representation of Catholicism I've ever seen. Yes, it IS a sin to touch yourself and have relations before marriage and not open to having kids. But, all of those "rules" have a MEANING behind them. The movie is basically telling you the old stereotype of our religion, that they're just rules made to repress people done by hypocrites who don't follow those rules. It's always like misrepresented like this. And that's why mystery recapped and non religious people make fun of us, because they think that's how we live. Yes, we do fall and we do sin because we're not perfect, and then we repent and start again. And no, we don't avoid sin this because it's a "rule", we do this because we freaking LOVE God, dang it! I'm so tired of being misrepresented, so tired. For people that had similar religious experiences as the one in the movie, I'm very, very sorry for you.
